I just saw a bunch of people protesting outside of boeing right next to where I work. They have a bunch of signs saying " boeing not my dr" lol

They did not want to get the vac so they quit and opened a ton of jobs for vaccinated people.

Do they have a place where you can see all the bugs that are currently in all versions of SW?

For example it would say solidworks 2018 sp5 has these 50 known bugs. solidworks 2019 sp5 has these known bugs etc

anyone use 240v on the bed?
I have that on the printers at work and that eliminated a need for a high power supply.

I use a keenvo bed heating pad @ 240v with a solid state relay that gets 12v signal and turns on the 240v bed or off.

The voron will be my next build. I have not seen anything that moves as fast, even industrial printers.

I think most of this 3dprinters magic is in the klipper firmware, it uses a accelerometer to find the fastest movements without sacrificing quality.

That is how we replace entire aircraft interiors, we must take the old cover, leather, carpet, ect and replace with materials that meet or exceed currrent config.

Wow that welding robot would make a great 3d printer with actual 3 axis printing instead of what we have now which is 2+1 axis printing.

I have one in the works that is a 400mm 3d printer, a miller dynasty power source with a wire feed tig attachment.

i just saw that fusion360 has a pull feature that is similar to geomagics shrinkwrap tool.
It is in the mesh tools and basically you create a flat surface and then use a tool to pull it to the shape of your mesh. Pretty cool
This looks promising for the seat portion of my workflow.

The seat is from a h145 and is one of my earlier versions. I used the mesh prep wiz and curve wiz then manual surfaces.

I've done what you are doing in SW and it's painful. Geomagic is the grandaddy of scan and mesh. I think NX can do it. You mentioned powerSurfacing, which would be my bet. Possibly Rhino.
