Re: Solidworks is out of Memory.!!
Same thing with GDI, user object limit. Why do we still have 64k memory limit? When we get 64GB RAM? With Windows 10, that doesn't popup as often. So it probably due to program not updating code to new Windows standard. Or they have old libraries which they have no access to source code. Like featur...

You can install it and test it.
You can have multiple version (not SP) SW running at the same time.
Install everything in it's own folder with year in name.

I assumed intellisense didn't work, but jsculley has pointed out that I'm not using the proper syntax. Not syntax. It's not declaring with proper type. object is base type for everything. VB could figure it out at runtime but not at build/compile. Hence all those compiled programs that won't run. Y...

The basic: programming is to do what you can do repetitively. Need to do a set of different commands, program it. Need to repeat it 1000 times, program it. Next step, save time. Set it up so it can run at night. You got extra 12 hours work that your boss not gonna pay LOL. Next, new function. Create...

Re: Round Holes in Curved Sheet Metal, Unfold or not?
A few questions: Are holes cut on the flat? So they're not "true round" after forming? Are the plate thick enough that after forming/rolling the bolt won't go through? If so, need to cut oblong instead of round hole. SSP use planes, Master Sketch use sketches. You can add sketch to SSP and...

Re: How to find the version of the SLDPart file?
First sentence from OP: I do not possess a Solidworks license or software. I believe OP just want to know file version (2000, 2024, 2025, Student 2020, Student 2024 etc). Decrypting or unzipping "maybe"... but I doubt it. Again Windows doesn't have to do this when showing the metadata when Solidworks is installed. Meaning it doesn't have to 'Decrypt' the file and read any data. The metadata already exists. SolidWorks just tells windows-10 to start showing ...
