Space Mouse Issues

Unread post by SPerman »

Does anyone else have issues with their 3dconnexion space mouse? About once a month mine goes black, and the only solution is to physically unplug it from the computer. Shut downs and reboots have no effect.

The screen goes black or the device is unresponsive? I seem to recall my screen occasionally going out, but I don't use the screen much and haven't seen that in a while. Space Pilot pro, not Space Mouse.

I've seen both. I've had the screen go black and the unit still be functional, and I've had the screen go black and it be non-responsive. I am using the Space Mouse Enterprise.

SpaceMouse Pro here. Occasionally I have to unplug it and plug it back in, but far less than monthly. I think it's happened twice.

Plug direct to the computer. In the fastest USB port.
Don't use USB hub with another mouse or keyboard.
Get a high speed, powered hub if you need to.

Space Navigator and 15 button mouse barely work together on a USB3 hub.

It is plugged directly into a blue USB on the back of the computer.
