I've never used Go To. To be honest, I didn't even understand how it worked until just now.

If you right click an item, and select "Go To" why doesn't it pre-populate the "find" box with the item you right clicked?

It doesn't work for me either. My 2 thoughts:

PDM is causing the problem. (I'm pretty sure Alex isn't on PDM, and we are.)

All parts / assemblies / drawings have to live in the same folder. (We do not follow this convention. Parts and assemblies are in different folders.)

In the VBA editor, go to 'Tools-> References'. There is probably a broken reference that either needs to be unchecked, or more likely pointed to the correct dll.

You might get better results using print to PDF.

Clicking the "Edit" button on the "Default Settings" line brings up these options. I'm not sure if any of those will accomplish what you are looking for. (I'm not familiar with OLE.)

Once I wrapped my head around the proper geometry it is rather simple. I was trying to force helix of 2 different pitches and angle of rotations to accomplish the geometry I thought I needed. It kind of worked, but was the wrong approach either way. I need to do research into equation driven curves....

You are probably aware of this, but you can right click on the sketch and chose "Configure Feature" and see all of the dimensions for the configurations in one place. You can also do the same thing for the extrude feature.

The more I think about this, the more I think I have the geometry wrong. I think I want the flat on the bottom to undercut the start of the helix. That way the intersection point is still in the correct location. The original design was 3d printed, so it had a full helix with a 20mm step. image.png ...

Yes, it could be done. You need to catch the DestroyNotify2 of AssemblyDoc, PartDoc and DrawingDoc and call the SldWorks::RunMacro2 from the event handler.
