Finally I decided to go with 4K monitor with DisplayPort connection to make sure to get the best signal translation. AMD freeSync is a plus so my eyes not getting tired after a day long on monitor.
I got Dell 32" curved 4K UHD monitor from Cyber Monday. I'm very happy with it so far.

I would argue that each have their place. Spending the time to turn my "Save as PDF" macro into a add-in would not be a good investment of my time. (Although I guess if you have hundreds of users there may be good reason to invest the time even for something simple.) I think the idea here...

We store our macros in a PDM folder set to get the latest version on login. Works fine with 35 or so macro in a 10 users environment. This also allow me to have the macro files permanently checked-out so the other users can't mess with them; I can also experiment new features in my local cache and ...

There's a fair bit of configuration that needs to be done to the database side in order to make it compatible with all the new features of a PDM upgrade. Did you select the correct options on install? I think by default it install PDM pro. I remember having to make explicit choices to get PDM standard instead of Pro, but I can't provide any specifics without going through the install process. Yes, I selected "standard" when installing it

I assume Part Number is a data card variable. So long as it's not set to be a version free variable you should be able to apply a the new part number while the file is checked out. We have a vendor and they change part number each time there is a change on that part
Using SW PDM, we tried to keep the part number unique and change the rev. only

I tried to pack and go an assembly, the local drive in "Save to Folder" appeared as a server folder c:\\
Is there an option to change the folder back to c:\

Yep, or forget it all and just get the boundary that it fits with the guide curves. I checked what happens with Loft (forgot to use fit spline, SW in my laptop is jamming with this file) tu image.png I'm still running SW2020; can't check the curvature but I can see from the att. image image.png
