Re: Document Expiration Date - Is it possible?
We didn't have PDM. So I ordered a hardware encrypted SSD drive so I can work from it and never leave any files on the computer. The paper binder was seating on the table at middle of the room. Thanks God I don't have my PEng license. Try keep them all in same Folder. So you don't need to look for t...

You might need to set it up so other only have link to the file and not a copy.
You can't really control the document when other made copies.

Why do you want "Material property" in assembly?
Assembly is a group of different parts which made out of different materials.

Re: Round Holes in Curved Sheet Metal, Unfold or not?
A few questions: Are holes cut on the flat? So they're not "true round" after forming? Are the plate thick enough that after forming/rolling the bolt won't go through? If so, need to cut oblong instead of round hole. SSP use planes, Master Sketch use sketches. You can add sketch to SSP and...

I guess you just Laser/Plasma/Waterjet your blade.
So as long as you get a scanned profile that can be cut, you're good.

Re: How to find the version of the SLDPart file?
First sentence from OP: I do not possess a Solidworks license or software. I believe OP just want to know file version (2000, 2024, 2025, Student 2020, Student 2024 etc). So they'll know if they can process the file or not. Ran into this with customers all the time. My solution is ask for STEP files...

Re: How to find the version of the SLDPart file?
Decrypting or unzipping "maybe"... but I doubt it. Again Windows doesn't have to do this when showing the metadata when Solidworks is installed. Meaning it doesn't have to 'Decrypt' the file and read any data. The metadata already exists. SolidWorks just tells windows-10 to start showing ...

Is there a way to just read custom file tags and to change that data, how to edit that? This is probably more of a programming question than it is a 'Solid-Works' how to question. Although related. Put reference in sketches.
Don't project/convert from model.
Reuse the sketch.
Features can move up and down.
Just not above the sketch.

Copy and paste the sheet.
Delete what you don't need.
Maybe bring grid back on drawing and paste to the grid.
