My questions are: a) what is the difference between standard and turbo frequency? Do I have to do something special to get it running at 4.7? b) knowing fewer cores / higher frequency is important, is there an I7 with a higher frequency that would be faster and cheaper? c) what about AMD processors...

User today clocked a high score of 11.7GB memory used for SW2021, with another 3GB going to Explorer/Solidworks PDM. Just had two SLDDRWs open. Time to go memory leak hunting.

Happy Thursday. My IT team is trying to evaluate DWG viewers to free up some licenses of AutoCAD for only those who need the editor capabilities. We're having some issues with Autodesk's offering in DWG TrueView, mainly that it seems to be held together with duct tape and wishes, and it doesn't play...

We currently have SW2021 SP02 deployed on 64 machines. I'm just IT so I couldn't tell you specifics, but a lot of our engineers are on Dell Precision 5520 laptops, upgraded to 32GB RAM. They're not brand new machines by any stretch of the word, but they're holding on pretty damn well all things cons...

What color switch did you get? You mentioned it being loud, so probably not Red.

If it's Blue I might be interested.
