Re: Customizable PDF Translator
You wouldn't have these problems if you'd quit using French... That's a bit of a tough one. Maybe you could use a macro in Bluebeam Revu to search and replace all instances of these words and fix it after the translation is made. But, that would require the "Extreme" version of Revu to ge...

Re: Improving the look/usability of the SWYMP Without Dassault Lifting a Finger
It doesn't always say 'Answered'. It may say 'Updated' if an author or commenter edited the post or a reply/comment. It will also say 'Validated' if the post has been marked that way. That whole area is still a bit work in progress as far as the best way to arrange things. Can you get it to be a li...

Re: one sketch dimension driven by multiple global variables
You can also use a Design Table. You are using a previous version of SW than what I have installed. So, I can't post a file that you can open.
Seeing your original post, I thought you had a specific need to do it the way you were.

On my phone so can't really see the animation. But try not using underscores in your variable names.
About 10 years ago underscores in custom property names gave me all kinds of weird results...and it wasn't documented anywhere!

Yep, still expensive: Though, I guess it's all relative. We don't watch a whole lot of TV and have a long backlog of shows to catch up on.

Re: Does anyone actually use 3DExperience in a productive manner?
I wonder how many small companies are going broke investing in this hoping that it'll fix itself eventually. I think I asked elsewhere for some examples of people/companies that were using it successfully for production development. I don't think I got an answer. Though I guess that depends on the ...

Re: use 4K TV for monitor
I personally dislike all the spyware and such they put in smart TVs lately. I will take a monitor any day, though it's a bit more. I have a fairly large UHD monitor that I use for my school work. For a second, I tried an older 1080p flat screen I somehow acquired somewhere, but it looked like crap ...

Re: use 4K TV for monitor
I've been using a 4k TV for years without too much trouble at home as a computer monitor. Initially SW didn't play well with 4k at all, but it's been fine for a while. I don't do gaming, so lag hasn't been an issue or I just don't notice it. But, if it's for work, just get a monitor! This is the 32&...

"take an assembly and save it as an .ipt" - Derive the assembly into ipt. It won't make it multi-body. Weldment is FrameGen in IV. SW use multi-body, IV use assembly. SW totally screw up Cut List, Part List and BOM with it. They never planned anyone will put Weldment in assembly. 3DSketch...

There used to be a guy on here by the name of John Stoltzfus. He modeled furniture. He fine tuned a method he called Skeleton Sketch Part, or SSP. I went my own direction with it to an extent. But there are a few others on here that use something similar. The idea is that you can make fundamental ch...
