You're right. It shouldn't. But it does. At least in 22sp4. I made 2 comps envelope, then suppressed one of them. Selected both, and changed back to non-envelope. The suppressed one became resolved. OK, what I found was that, if you multi select components and ALL the components that you have selected are ALL envelope, then you can toggle off envelope for all of them all at once.

OK, as far as I know, hatch needs to use the entire line. So your line on the right needs to be ONLY the length between the 2 horizontal lines.

That looks like a limitation. If you have ALREADY placed a circle and created the detail view, you cannot now replace the detail sketch with a square.

You have to select "profile" at the very beginning and start with a square.

Expand your solid bodies folder and see if the body is hidden.

(FYI, if you press the "TAB" key while your mouse is over a body in a part, it hides the body. SHIFT + TAB brings it back)

As @TTevolve says, you need a dimension input. Midplane just takes the dimension input that you give and splits it in half.

If you want "up to vertex" in both directions, you will have to use direction 1 and direction 2
