The section is already set up at https://www.cadforum.net/viewforum.php?f=17&sid=2ecc2dab77f25a8a3cb688ae3c146730 , and I have one FAQ there. I ran into a limitation in this platform that only allows 3 attachments, which includes screenshots, and quite a few of them have more than that. @matt i...

The only thing(s) I can think of happening is that they ban someone or it becomes a reputation issue. As far as models, download them and re-attach them. I don't think any of that crosses the line into any liability issues only reputation issues which I though we should get insight on. Well, the on...

I've been to most of the in-person courses offered by my VAR, some of them more than once, and I've always been surprised that they don't have one focusing on custom properties. It's such a powerful tool that I believe more emphasis should be placed on helping people with it. I think I have a pretty...

I guess we all have blind spots when using SW, or at least I know I do. Two features I resisted using for some reason, that I now use often and wouldn't want to do without are Quick Mates and Isolate. Users often comment on their use of keyboard shortcuts. Maybe it's because I don't have an AutoCAD ...

Yeah, I avoid configurations. I know there are situations where they are difficult to avoid, but they cause all sorts of problems. Configuring sketch relations just sounds like asking for trouble. I'd rather swap out features than try to reuse one sketch with swapping relations. Configurations are ...

It's not a workflow I use, so I probably won't be able to answer any more questions about it, but if you right-click while in the open sketch and choose "Display/Delete Relations" from the drop-down you get the property manager shown below. As you can see, there are configuration options s...
