Re: WTF is going on here ?
That was a quick example. Frequently you don't want to mirror the entire body, just a single feature. True. For hole wizards, I try to recreate an entire feature rather then mirror it because there are too many times where we've started with symmetrical sides and ended up with non-symmetrical sides...

Yes you are right there that SW is broken beyond repair and ask the dev to add/change or even repair will brake the tool even more. But I think you are wrong here to not have the tool to not be consistent. In the other CAD you are giving guidance's on where to cut with a regular cutout. image.png O...

The key is given free. If you do not plan to upgrade or pay subscription later, you can continue using the key. So there is no recurring cost. And you can use the key on multiple machines. The only downfall is that the key is not forward compatible i.e. it can not read/write data form future files....

Yeah, uh, how knowledgeable are you about SolidWorks or I.T. in general?
The error you just posted speaks of Microsoft SQL Server, which means you tried to install the server image for the licence manager.

They are not compatible with Windows 11. If I am not mistaken, SolidWorks 2022 was the first version to be compatible with Windows 11

Try to run as Administrator then. The errors seem to point to something causing the files to not be created. Lack of space, lack of rights, missing setup files, something like that.

You don't need to edit anything, your Cut-Extrude1 loses it's reference upon a rebuild. Edit the cut and accept it and everything will be fine and dandy. Didn't re-happen after. Most likely, features were moved around and SolidWorks fumbled in it's reference reassignement. Since it hadn't been "...

Drawing validator
Hello,
I know PDM can tell people that their drawings are outdated, are there any add-ons that would do the same thing? We are having a recurring issue where users forget to open drawings after modifying parts/assemblies and I'd like to have a way to validate this.

I've never had trouble with CTRL+Q in a sketch, the only thing it does is it closes the sketch command to rebuild the entire feature tree, so if what you have in your sketch is problematic it will throw off errors, but in your case the feature is at the end and it throws errors on features before bo...

I think you nailed it .. I seems that Dasult have gone to town of crafting UI components and forced upon workflow just to have end user to give up and slab everything that needs to be edit at the end of the feature tree. In other words their own poor man "synchronic" workflow. One way mod...
