Inferred above, but worth repeating, drive all external relations down the feature tree, never up (up is a good way to get circular references, which SW doesn't like).

There's this from a quick google search on changing a part to an envelope part:

You'd need to figure out which "True" to change to false and then wrap it in a loop to go through the assembly.

I use hair spray for PLA and glue stick for ABS. I can print a PLA box the size of my CR10 print bed and it will be dead flat.
