Jason's got it with #1. The assembly does have configurations and the BOM is switching configurations when I select the BOM type.

SW Performance Test
Do any of you guys know whether the performance test for 2023 yields similar results to 2022? I took a baseline test when I got my new laptop and the current test is nowhere near as good as the original test. The only change I've made is to upgrade to 2023.

Thank you all for your input. It sounds as if 2022 isn't significantly worse than any other version, so it's probably something wrong with my installation. I'll try the hotfix, then bug the VAR again.

Alex and Frederick, thanks for your advice. I've tried everything, but have come to the conclusion that there is no other way. Lots of triangles (which take a long time to generate) and live with the imperfection. Strange that the printer can't use real geometry like .step.
