I might be loosing my mind on the tag thingy going on in SWYM, but I'll go back to the comment that I made based on my Search Post https://forum.solidworks.com/thread/208328 There I had 120 different categories, so just by that scenario you're going to be making 120 tags, I'll be changing the wordi...

Cheers Merovingien Yes, I lock them when I can, but this one needs to update. One problem I have found is that when unlocking references - it causes errors in the parts Rob, Thinking out loud here, but could you have a cross-reference, or a file with the same name in 2 differing locations? Hi All! I don't suppose I've ever really delved too deep into this topic, but as the size of my assemblies is increasing it becomes an essential consideration. Hey Glenn,
Use paint, it's what I did, then I used the resize tool to be able to get it to the proper pixel size. If it doesn't work, just post it here and we'll give it a try.

Make sure to understand line directions if you use sketch entities. It is an important part of it IMO. A line drawn from bottom to top is not the same as a line drawn from top to bottom, even if they have the same length and are parallel. Thin extrusions is an example of how it differs. One will gen...

We use a NAS and it works fine.
Recommandation is taking a deep look at how you work and then projecting how long it could take to fill up whatever size you're looking at, and then see if the time frame is appropriate for you.

Hey Jaylin,
Do you use external references? Have you tried locking them prior to doing the move?
Maybe something is linked to whatever it is you are moving, and after moving it the external reference keeps on rebuilding which is what makes you freeze?
Just a guess!
