Re: Rapid Furniture Models
I am ME by training and understand CAD well. Previously worked in robotics so am used to complicated designs too. What is unique about my projects and furniture is all the different visual styles. These videos in that search are all the basics I mostly know and don't get to the question about how t...

Re: New for SW2024
@zxys001 Paul........ "maybe" here's a really bad hack way of doing this. Option 1: With the Assembly and Drawings open do a save as in the Assembly and change it to a Part file. This "should" give a Part file with only bodies in it. Option 2: Have only the Assembly open and sav...

Re: New for SW2024
Yea I read that and it seems like a 100% complete waste of time. Just send a STEP/Parasolid file and I'll go from there. Trying to pull apart a tree that has 100's of parent/child relationships just won't do. And imagine if it's a new file that you didn't build, someone else did, and now you have t...

Re: Mobius Strip in SW
I don't know what you mean by "real" geometry. I promise you that I modeled a lot of real geometry in my old SW2012. And despite the lack of several tools that have appeared since then (e.g. offset surface boundaries, cone round), I have never had "real geometry" kill that old S...

Re: Mobius Strip in SW
Cool. I opened all three files. 1. Moe is not a surface body. As you could see in my video, I acknowledged that a solid body can be created (8 faces). Also, Moe is not a Mobius strip. There is a 360 degree twist instead of 180. image.png 2. Moe-figure 2-surfs is a collection of two surface bodies. ...

She's on the list of my top five favorite female singers (along with Bonnie Bishop, Etta James, Patsy Cline, and Allyson Krauss). I've of course heard her sing that song before, but not that version.

Re: AI can't fix stupid, yet
That's been suggested before, but there is a reproduction factor involved. Our robo overlords will take care of that when they eliminate us all. I'd imagine this would be the most effective solution if/when ai determines humans as parasitic. First order,.. dispatch lifelike non-reproductive drones ...
