Customizable PDF Translator

Unread post by AlexLachance »

Does anyone know of a PDF Translator that is somewhat customizable? We're looking to take our french drawings and translate them and some of the terms do not come out as we'd wish. For instance, ballon translates to balloon in english but the term we want is "air spring".

You wouldn't have these problems if you'd quit using French...

That's a bit of a tough one. Maybe you could use a macro in Bluebeam Revu to search and replace all instances of these words and fix it after the translation is made. But, that would require the "Extreme" version of Revu to get the macro capability. And, it's become very pricey since it changed ownership.
I don't know if Acrobat has a similar macro functionality.

Maybe you could do this in Word with a macro? Word works better with PDFs with every new version.
