SolidWorks Advanced Feature Patterns

Unread post by matt »

This is a quick overview of some of the more advanced feature pattern types in SolidWorks. Curve driven, table driven, sketch driven, as well as Fill and Variable patterns. This is more an overview than a detailed tutorial.

Based on recent experience, I'm probably not going to do it. Working with the publisher got more and more miserable each update. My recent foray into writing a "web book" pretty much flopped. I've got other writing projects for now that pay better. Plus, how much life do you think the desktop product has? Is now the right time for forward-looking business decisions based on it?

Books like this where you research every little claim are very hard to write. That's why most books on the subject are less useful than the Help.
