Solidworks 2022 SP5 EV is available for anyone that has been waiting for some bug fixes.

That option isn't there in sp4.

In 2020, the "flip mate" and "lock rotation" would appear for a few seconds. If you clicked anywhere else on the screen it went away. If you waited a few seconds, it went away.
After some people complained about this new feature, it appears they set it to disappear after a few milliseconds, making it useless.
I hope they haven't made it so you have to click a check mark to use this feature, but that is what it looks like from the screenshot above.

I am sure it is challenging to make software that meets the needs and desires of millions of users, but IMO they always seem to pick the worst possible approach.

I really wish that instead of spending time and money implementing PDM, I had spent that time and money migrating to SE.
