Table of functionality in Styles

Unread post by matt »

I've been trying to keep track of which features don't work in which style/theme. And now that we have this new table function, this is a great place to make use of it.

Which tools don't work in which style?
Style Collapse reply title Hamb menu New colors symbols key colors play nice large font Jump to
Breeze Y N Y Y N Y Y Y
Carbon Y Y Y N N N N Y
ChesterBlue Y Y expanded Y Under Cat Y N Y
CleanSilver Y Y Slide Out Menu Y Y N Y
Flat Y Y Y Y N Y N Y
Elegance Y Y Y maroon N Y N Y
Prolight Y Y on right hard to see N table heading N Y
prosilver Y Y Y Y N Y N Y
Purplexion Y N Y New Posts button N N N Y
Quantum Codex Y Y Y Y N Y N Y
Supernova N Y Y green N Y N Y

Overall, a couple of things:

1) The table is like writing HTML, it's just tedious, not at all a WYSIWYG. It works, and the result looks nice, but it's hard to use, and the size is limited. Might keep looking, but use this until we find something better.

2) Couple of surprises:
-Chesterblue has some expanded options and a very interesting slide out menu, along with a great index of symbols.
-Prolight was the only light theme I really didn't like
-Purplexion was surprisingly good, the New Posts button at the top takes you where you want to go
- Quantum Codex is a dark theme that looks good in light mode.
-Supernova main drawback is that it doesn't allow collapsible categories.

If you have anything to add, or if I missed something, please let me know.

@jcapriotti Ok, I found it. Hiding under a leaf, under a rock, around behind something else. Give it a try. It shows up to the left of the sarcasm tag.
