3D Scan to 3D Model challenge

Unread post by Arthur NY »

This just came across my radar and thought this to be a great exercise to sharpen one's skill set with working with 3D Scanned data and specifically surfacing modeling techniques. This isn't a software specific challenge so feel free to use whatever your favorite software of choice is. Will check back here to see anyone's progress along the way and final results.

I think it was done with one of the cheapy handheld scanners, not 100% on that. Great model btw @zxys001 . Did you use regular surfacing or did you use SubD?

Hi Arthur,.. I quickly did SubD using/testing the latest WIP.
