SW Performance Test

Unread post by Uncle_Hairball »

Do any of you guys know whether the performance test for 2023 yields similar results to 2022? I took a baseline test when I got my new laptop and the current test is nowhere near as good as the original test. The only change I've made is to upgrade to 2023.

I've read a lot of people saying there was a drastic and negative change in speed from 2022 to 2023 but if I remember correctly, Dassault was working on it to adress it within the 2023 timeframe if it hasn't been already.

But Alin told us 2023 was the fastest solidworks ever.

I believe it appeared in SP1 or SP0.1, so technically, the first 2023 version was fast! :P

SW use single hamster only.
No multi-hamstering.
