Issue with Weld Gap in Piping Route

Unread post by pkennedy »

I'm having issues trying to add a weld gap to an existing piping route. When I select the weld gap feature and the segment section it doesn't allow me to add the gap on my Tee fitting.

See attached image. I've tried a new route from the beginning with the weld gap already selected and it provided the required weld gap for the tee. Is there a reason why you can't add one to an existing route?

Hi Pkennedy,
Maybe a little too late, but you should be able to change the gap in an existing route.
When the weld gap should be the same on both sides, you should tick the overide weld gap option and fill in the gap just below the option. If the gaps are not the same on both ends, do not tick the override weld gap option.
