This 1 stuck, still red for days. It didn't go away even though I looked it over and over. Is this issue related to my browser? Anyone else experience this event?

“I didn't know this about 9-11
AFTER FLIGHT 77 hit the Pentagon on 9/11, the following incident occurred:
A chaplain, who happened to be assigned to the Pentagon, told of an incident that never made the news. A daycare facility
inside the Pentagon had many children, including infants who were in heavy cribs. The daycare supervisor, looking at all the children they needed to evacuate, was in a panic over what they could do. There were many children, mostly toddlers, as well as the infants that would need to be taken out with the cribs.
There was no time to try to bundle them into carriers and strollers. Just then a young Marine came running into the center and asked what they needed. After hearing what the center director was trying to do, he ran back out into the hallway and disappeared. The director thought, "Well, here we are, on our own."
About 2 minutes later, that Marine returned with 40 other Marines in tow. Each of them grabbed a crib with a child, and the rest started gathering up toddlers. The director and her staff then helped them take all the children out of the center and down toward the park near the Potomac.
Once they got about 3/4 of a mile outside the building, the Marines stopped in the park, and then did a fabulous thing - they formed a circle with the cribs, which were quite sturdy and heavy, like the covered wagons in the Old West. Inside this circle of cribs, they put the toddlers, to keep them from wandering off. Outside this circle were the 40 Marines, forming a perimeter around the children and waiting for instructions. There they remained until the parents could be notified and come get their children.
The chaplain then said, "I don't think any of us saw nor heard of this on any of the news stories of the day. It was an incredible story of our men there.” There wasn't a dry eye in the room. The thought of those Marines and what they did and how fast they reacted; could we expect any less from them? It was one of the most touching stories from the Pentagon. It's the Military, not the politicians that ensures our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It's the Military who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag. If you care to offer the smallest token of recognition and appreciation for the military, please pass this on and pray for our men and women, who have served and are currently serving our country, and pray for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.”

I have been working from home since March of 2020. I do not see any issues with working at home (I hope they let us continue). I have only gone back into the office 3 times maybe. I am a higher level designer at my company. I am also the main PDM Admin. I also do all SolidWorks installs (about 40 users). And last but not least, I am also the "go to guy" for all things SolidWorks.

Doubtful. Too many distractions at home. I would not be able to self regulate well, either distracted with non-work stuff when I should be focusing on work or doing work stuff when I should not be. I'm speaking only for myself.

Less distraction, unless you have kids

Con:
You might skip lunch and breaks

You need to keep your schedule while working from home. Keep the 9 to 5. Don't get too flexible.

even if I am crying.

They play games on their smart phones not with me.

When they are talking to someone on their smart phone, they never listen to me even if I am telling them something important.

So, MY WISH is to become a smart phone.

After listening to the note my husband got emotional and asked the wife, ‘Who wrote this??’.

Wife: ‘OUR SON ’......

Gadgets are beneficial, but they are for our ease not to cease the love amongst family and loved ones.

Children see and feel everything what happens with & around them. Things get imprinted on their mind with an everlasting effect. Let’s take due care, so that they do not grow with any false impressions...

I think that my kid actually had this wish come true....I actually think he is a cell phone :-)

Skip lunch and breaks, that would be a pro. Just get the 8 hrs in and do something else.

There's a lot of pro's and con's, it all depends on your personality.

I like working from home, but not so much. I'm a very social person so, with that said, when working from home, you definetly don't do as much social as you would when you're at work.You're also not as close to work, so when you're missing something from work, well you're stuck waiting till the next day.

But, on the other side, when you work from home, you can work in your own comfort and also have your fridge available for whatever it is you desire. If you have pets like a dog, you can also play with the pet between things.

We worked from home for about a month, this was unquestionably high on the list.

I'd go to my desk, dog would follow and just lay there most of the day.

Biggest thing for me was the drive. Saved me 60-75 minutes a day.

Worst thing was when you needed something that you couldn't get or weren't there to do something you needed to be there to do. Most things you could get thru but it was often times PAINFULLY slow to do so.

Some things we kept and actually work better. Meetings are better online. it's easier to keep people focused and not have them break off into small groups and not paying attention. Online meetings just seem to go smoother to me.

It was a design error. The designer failed to state that the coupling hub needed to be installed correctly.

The hubs were installed backwards and there was very little gear engagement. The shaft was slipping...The good news is they were consistent and all the couplings were installed that way...

My dad still has one. It's gone downhill since Ryan D'Agastino (sp?) left and Roy Berendsohn was demoted, IMHO. Now it's mostly sci-fi and stories about some random guy's house renovation.

I might be a bit less active, I'm having health issues lately. I passed out and had a seizure at work this week and was brought to the hospital by ambulance and then plugged on oxygen because they were scared I was going to die. Still no idea what's wrong with me, but I'm back to 'normal', I should know within a few months, still passing tests.

Take care Alex, my best friend since high school developed seizures in his late 20's. It's tough but manageable. I hope they get it figured out.
